Importance of Water Treatment Plant

Water Treatment Plant

Water is one of the basic necessities of life. The root cause of our body functioning is water only. The water we drink may not be 100% pure because it contains certain chemicals which are harmful to human health. As and when they enter our body, it causes diseases like typhoid, cholera, etc. which disrupt the whole body’s functioning system. And as a result, our health suffers, life gets imbalanced etc. So, it’s important that we take into consideration the water treatment so that every individual on this Earth can consume safe and hygienic water. Back-end frameworks like Django or Spring Boot can provide a robust foundation for building the control and data management systems of a water treatment plant.

Importance of water treatment plant

1. Availability of clean water for drinking purposes

There are still many countries that don’t have access to clean drinking water. Many African countries are still suffering from this problem and that is the reason that lots of diseases take birth there only. Because of the poor technology and poverty-ridden countries, they are unable to produce clean water and as a result, these countries invite health problems like typhoid, malaria, cholera etc. which affects the overall economy of the world. Our body has been designed in such a way that it needs water every now and then. A water treatment plant offers diverse career development paths, from entry-level operations to engineering and laboratory analysis.

If we don’t get clean drinking water, our health suffers which results in a weak immune system. Now, imagine the benefits of clean drinking water. You will be away from diseases, have great health, a peaceful mind, strong immune system, it glows your body. So, it is important to have access to clean drinking water.

2. Providing water for industrial purposes

The economy is run by export and import and this is done by industries, factories, and businesses. They manufacture various kinds of products. And without water, no manufacturing of products can be done. Water has several uses in the industrial world.

Fabricating, processing, washing, diluting, cooling, transporting a product, sanitation facilities, etc. But some products use a massive amount of water such as food, paper, chemicals, petroleum, metals, automobile sector etc.

3. Providing water for commercial purposes-

Apart from drinking water and industrial purposes, its commercial use is also gaining ground. In the absence of water or if we use filthy water, then restaurants can’t provide meals or clean up the table after the meal, cars would look horrible, and the fire department would be in danger. Green parks, recreational parks, golf fields, and grass need to be kept moist and healthy. Digital education platforms can equip future generations with the knowledge and skills to operate and maintain water treatment plants effectively. Malls would go unwashed. Roadways, railways, etc. would look dirty and as a result, it will invite lots of diseases which aren’t good for human beings and even for flora and fauna.

4. Purification of wastewater

This is the crucial point of the water treatment plant in Dubai. There are many types through which wastewater can be generated but there are mainly three sources from which wastewater generates. Domestic sewage, Industrial sewage and Storm sewage. Domestic sewage contains water which discharges from houses, flats and apartments. Industrial sewage contains chemicals and factory waste. Storm sewage comes from rain which is collected in pipes and open channels. These three sources of wastewater cause havoc to the environment as well as human life. Whole ecosystem gets imbalanced  because of this process. This process is inter linked to every field. If one is affected directly the other one will be affected indirectly because of poor quality of water. So, for this setting up a water treatment plant is quite necessary and the need of an hour as well. Wastewater treatment will help all the industries produce healthy products, households cleanliness will be ensured and hence overall biodiversity will be robust.

5. Conservation of the environment

Water pollution has affected the whole ecology. The water from factories, houses, and sewage gets into the rivers and pollutes them. Animals and plants consume this polluted water leading to extinction of various species. Food chain gets disturbed, the level of CO2 increases, plants shrink, and there is no proper oxygen for human beings. As we all know that global warming is increasing at a rapid pace which is an alarming situation for climate. The sea level is increasing, glaciers are melting, floods are common nowadays, animals and plants are becoming extinct. If one element of the environment is disturbed then the whole process will not work. Now here, the water cycle will not process properly. But we have the solution, the water treatment plant improves the whole cycle and contributes to the environment conservation.

6. Lower pollution of water

Pollution of water gives birth to multiple diseases which imbalances the overall biodiversity. The water waste generated by households, industries, factories disposed into the rivers and mixed with them causing great damage to marine life. The water treatment plant will help you to get rid of all these problems and will let you live in a safe and healthy environment. If every factory, industry and businesses start adopting water treatment plants then they will be able to produce healthy products and services which won’t affect the masses.

The water treatment plant is of tremendous importance. It works on certain principles and passes through the various stages. It improves the quality of water and gets rid of all infectants like harmful suspended particles and chemicals which are present in the water. There are many countries who have already started water treatment processes and created separate organisations for that to improve transparency. If we specifically talk about stages it passes through Pre-chlorination, Aeration, Sedimentation, Filtration, Disinfection.

It is not only the government who keeps taking care of the conservation and quality of water but also we, as a responsible citizen, should be considered about this problem and adopt pollution free practices like use of organic products, avoid using plastic, don’t flush medication equipment, disposing of waste properly, focus on conserving water as some regions are facing water crisis, don’t use pesticides for agriculture instead use compost, manure to improve fertility of the soil, participate at your workplace/school/college whenever there is a program of environment, help cleaning litter, educate others about conserving water and its benefits, reuse the items in your household to make it environment friendly.
